Just trying to recreate the quality of this type of photo seen recently in one of the Digital Grin Challenges. I’m not quite there yet. This was done using a translucent background with 2 speedlights behind to illuminate it. White board was used under the glass and white panels added to both sides to reduce any unwanted reflection in the glass or water.

It still doesn’t have the good surface definition I was looking for. Oh well, I’ll try again tomorrow.

One last attempt and then it’s time to move on to something else for now.
