We had everyone over for Thanksgiving today and I talked a few people into some portrait lighting tests while they were here.

Speedlight in reflected umbrella camera right, white reflector low camera left, gridded speedlight high and behind the subject camera left for rim lighting.

No special lighting here. Just a little more messing around.

Trying to work more with lighting. This is a small speedlight softbox with full CTO gell on the speedlight camera right. Wood stained for the photo from my many scraps left over from various household projects.
